Ready to ditch the winter coat, but still a little chilly? Try a few light layers: tanks, tees, cardigans and top it off with a spring scarf. Lighter than the winter version, these scarves are the perfect way to combat the last bit of chill in the air. When it warms up in the afternoon just tie it onto the strap of your tote for a cute casual look. Functional and tres chic? What more could a girl ask for?

Jupe's SWF Monthly Must-Have

Greetings style stewards! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Terra. I blog on stylish white female and I have the most insatiable style crush on Jupe Boutique. They could have stuck me in the creepy stalker category (a title of which I am fully deserving). Instead, they have sponsored SWF!
In return, I get to take on whatever style challenges they throw my way. Believe me when I say I... am... ready.
For my first style challenge, the fine ladies at Jupe asked me to work with this gorgeous, flowy blouse by eight sixty. Um... DONE.
I absolutely adore this print. Florals are huge for spring and summer. When aren't they, really? Spring, especially in Pittsburgh, is when we finally get to feel alive again. This winter was particularly brutal, am I right? So inject some bold color into your wardrobe!
I love how comfy the top is. I could eat a pound of dough and you'd never know. I kept it a little sexy by pulling the neck off of my shoulder. What gal doesn't love her shoulders?
I would wear this outfit on a day date. It's bright and lovely. Effortless enough that I wouldn't feel like I was trying too hard, but daring enough that I'd get my date to look twice. And thrice. ;) The skinnies on the bottom balance out the flouncy top.
By the way, I'm a shortie. Not like, "Hey shortie, can I get your number?" I'm five feet naught. So if anyone tells you little girls that you can't wear a big, bold print you tell 'em SWF said it was more than cool. And if you're a tallie, you'd better not ever pass up a fabulous print like this. These things were maaaade for you!
So tell me, what do you think of this top? Would you wear it? HOW would you wear it? SF minds want to know...
Goooooo to Jupe! If you love this top enough to make it your own, and you mention SWF, you'll get 20% off. This is your duh moment of the day.

The Bandeau Top!
What, you ask, is one of the hottest items for summer 2010? Why the bandeau top, of course! Not only is it super chic, but it's uber versatile--it can be worn under tanks, tees, dresses, vests, etc. Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, and Bottega Veneta all crafted renditions of this sexy trend--take a look at how some other fab designers showed the bandeau on the 2010 runway.
Jupe currently has two great bandeau tops by Gentle Fawn in stock, one in lime green and the other in dark gray. Stop in and try one on!
Loving the look but not sure how to pull it off? Check out this list of 10 fashion-forward ways to wear the bandeau.*
1. Buy a neon bandeau and wear under anything sheer and/or lacy.
2. Cut 10-inch-long holes around the arm holes of an over-sized t-shirt. Wear with a matching bandeau.
3. Layer under your favorite sheer silk summer dresses.
4. Pour yourself into a high-waisted pencil skirt with a wild print. Peep a bright bandeau under double breasted vest. Accessorize with stacked heels.
5. Break out last summer's rompers and give them new life.
6. Wear on top of a fitted plain-tee or a loose fitting tank.
7. Unbutton your oxford, and let a bandeau peak out.
8. Use as a modern-day "dickie" for sleek coverage under tight v-necks.
9. Save for a sunny day and wear tanning.
10. Use as a pop of color against a backless top or dress.
Use some of the advice from the list and make the bandeau top your own today!

Get Schooled On Chanel
Coco Chanel was born Gabrielle Chanel on August of 1883, in the small town of Saumur, France. She was one of the pioneers of French fashion. Her clothing was inspired by menswear and her modern views. She aided in founding the brand Chanel, which is still famous and thriving today. She believed in "expensive simplicity." But here at Jupe, you know we believe in affordable beauty! So here's how to get the classic Chanel look for less; if you prefer an edgier version of Chanel, we have that too!
For the classic look:
We paired our Necessary Objects jacket with a classic LBD and chain necklaces
(that resemble the Chanel purse's chain handle!).
For the edgy look:
We paired the jacket with an exposed zipper mini, burn out tee and bib necklace.
Where you see it:
The Chanel-inspired look is huge right now! Check out the similar jacket on the cover of Lucky, in magazine ads and on the runway!
Okay, so I took the last one literally ;) But did you see this monstrosity! Its a 75ft version of a Chanel jacket; it was on the Spring runway for Chanel in 2008...so cool!
How do you like wearing your chanel-inspired jacket?
