Loving cropped sleeve jackets like these, but worried about practicality? Try wearing a chunky, long sleeve sweater underneath in a contrasting color. Looking for a something more sophisticated? Try adding elbow length knit gloves. They'll keep you warm and have an elegant vibe without being too dressy.

Trend We Love: High Waisted Skirts

One of our favorite trends right now is high waisted skirts. A high waisted skirt is a great piece to have in your closet. They can be dressed up or down; worn flirty and feminine or tough and serious. Here are 3 of our favorite ones at Jupe right now.

This polka-dot skirt by BB Dakota is a great piece for work. It looks best on straighter figures due to the slim cut. The included belt helps to create shape at the waist. The simple black and white pattern and tailored look of this piece can easily be styled in traditional or more fun way. Add a black or white turtleneck (below: by LA Made) for a classic look. In the mood for something a little flashier? Try a bright red or hot pink crew neck t-shirt.

This skirt by BB Dakota is more voluminous and boisterous. The rich fuchsia color and silky fabric make this piece great for partying. Fun and flirty, this skirt can be work as shown in the photo below with a simple white tank and a pair of pumps or with a black turtleneck, tights, and pumps for a more formal look. This is a great skirt to wear with chunky, bold jewelry.

This brocade tulip skirt by BB Dakota has a slightly more romantic feel. The soft color and opulent fabric are awesome for the holiday season. Paired with a softer top as pictured below (by Aryn K), this skirt is very feminine and formal. Paired with a black crew neck T and black tights it's reminiscent of ballerinas. And paired with a white tank and pumps it's downright kitschy.
