We enjoyed the sun and 90 degree weather yesterday during our Spring photo shoot. We went for a kind of playful, retro vibe for this shoot. Our models Natalie and Christina were great sports in the sun, and we loved have Dana Dixon as our photographer. Check out some behind the scenes photos below.

Ahhh, springtime in New York. The sun begins to shine, and New Yorkers emerge from their winter hibernation. They flood the streets, wearing a perfect mix of winter attire and spring best. It’s that transition time between wearing tights at night and gladiator sandals during the day, so I still see a lot of boots. Wearing camel brown tall or short boots is a nice way to ease into summer bare toes. I also love the spring jackets I’ve seen around: Everything from vintage leather bomber jackets on the hipsters, boyish navy blue blazers on the preps, and knee length trench on the uptown girls. My favorite of these trenches are ones in neutral colors, such as tan and caramel, with big, unique collars. Stay tuned for more spring fashion sights from New York …

Rompers! Rompers! Rompers! They are the "It" item for Spring and Summer '09. Think that you can't rock this trend? Most versions will be tough to wear if you are older than 10 and have any figure at all. Even the name sounds a bit childish. But, this one by Plastic Island is called a jumpsuit: the sexy grown up cousin of the romper. Add some chunky jewelry, a belt, and gladiators or pumps and you are ready for anything: an afternoon in the park or night out on the town. It is a trendy piece that also manages to be sexy and fun at the same time. Loves it.
